Getting It Done
As we mentioned earlier your ultimate goal is to get the job done. Often this becomes a psychological problem as the project draws to an end and workers leave the site for good. On one hand you’re happy to have the house back to yourself while on the other you may experience the letdown that occasionally accompanies the completion of a project. Try not to stretch things out or keep calling people back for small things. Instead focus away from the details you’ve spent the last few weeks immersed in and look at what you’ve accomplished.
Very quickly after the contractors have left and you are enjoying your new kitchen many of those details you agonized over will recede until you can’t remember what the fuss was about. Even if they don’t totally leave your mind, let time and use offer a solution. In the meantime enjoy your new space and lifestyle!
